Post-medieval copper alloy buckle. Rectangular frame with rounded corners, drilled for separate iron spindle, only corrosion from which now survives, chape missing. Cast decoration on the upper face in the form of four lozengiform bosses in low relief with debased foliate motifs between. There is a pair of small rounded knops of each outside edge. Measuring 30 x 33mm. Late 17th - early 18th century.

The lower arm of the cross terminates in a trefoil below a transverse rib, the side arms both broken before the end of Christ's arms, and the upper arm broken flush with the top of the side arms possibly across a perforation. The object is cast and shows Christ with outstretched arms, his head leaning to one side, a knotted loin cloth, and a groove separating the legs. Fragment of P-shaped or crossbow brooch. Broken at both ends. Lower bow of flat 'D' section ending with a single engraved transverse line above a pair of side notches, the footplate decorated with a pair of side notches, transverse line and another pair of side notches at the break. The catchplate does not survive. It is evidenced by a small broken backwards projection on the footplate, below which all of that side of the plate is missing. A rather flimsy example. A Late Saxon cast disc brooch with a backward-looking beast within a raised border, originally segmented but now worn smooth. Any detail on the beast (eye, mane) have also been worn smooth. On the reverse are the remains of a catch-plate positioned directly behind the beast's rear end and set at right angles to the outside edge of the brooch. The perforated pin lug which retains corroded iron from the pin is set parallel with the opposite edge of the brooch. Diameter 23mm. Weight 4.4g. 10th - 11th century.

The handle is hollow with a rectangular aperture forming a slot through the collar at one end and a smaller rectangular aperture at the other to accommodate the tange of a missing, probably double-ended iron tool, although no trace of iron corrosion survives. A gros tournois of Louis IX of France which has been gilded and is now slightly distorted. The original coin will be of good silver, over 90% fine metal. Although there is no evidence of a means of attachment the fact that the coin was gilded shows that it was modified for use as an artefact, probably as a coin brooch, pendant or other form of jewellery. Incomplete silver signet ring with only a short length of the flat D-sectioned hoop extant. An inscription encircles round the sloping edge of the transversely set oval bezel and surrounds an antique oval carnelian intaglio engraved with the figure of Fides, standing and holding corn ears and a basket of fruit. Post-medieval scissors. Oval finger loop with off-set, rectangular-sectioned stem decorated with crosshatched panels and rabbets before expanding before a break. There is a possible iron rivet before the break, but iron corrosion covers most of the expanded end of the handle / start of the blade. Loop 23 x 20mm. Total surviving length (including loop) 63mm. Several very similar examples have been recorded, see NARC3254, NMS-52C987, SUR-852F37 and CORN-C6BF43. Probably late 17th - 18th century.

A reasonably well-preserved bulla which despite having some corrosion of the lead surface, still has enough of the original patina preserved to show the reading very clearly.
