Rectangular plate tapering very slightly towards the terminal, one copper alloy rivet at the attachment edge and one above the lozengiform terminal knop, with a probably forked spacer visible on either edge through orange corrosion probably from iron. The front and back-plates are both plain. Length 43mm. Width 14mm. 13th - 14th century.

Two rectangular plates with very little original edge surviving, two notches in the attachment edge, single rivet in centre of attachment edge, with the remains of a woven cloth strap preserved between the plates. No trace of decoration survives. Surviving length 21mm, surviving width 14mm, thickness of strap 2.5mm. Circa 13th - 14th century.

Medieval composite strap-end of crescentic type, the points of the crescent meeting leaving an oval aperture in the front-plate. The separate oval sheet back-plate is secured by two copper alloy rivets through the points of the crescent at upper end and two copper alloy rivets near mid-point. The front of the crescent is decorated with engraved lines, probably stylised leaves or a flower, with short sectioned of rocker arm engraving. The knop at the base of the crescent is missing. Surviving length 34mm. Width 33mm. Cf. Fingerlin 1971 Abb. 312-314. Circa 1400 - 1450.
