Post-medieval silver, gilded cap hook with circular-sectioned S-shaped hook soldered to the reverse, broken next to the edge of the plate and now separate but joining. Discoidal plate with grooves around the edge creating segmented sides and border around a slightly recessed front face which has in low relief ihc within a circular cell at the centre of a rose formed from five inner and five outer petal cells. Rectangular attachment loop, circular plate with beaded border around four ribs forming a cross with three blind holes in each quarter. Some of the holes have broken through the reverse, but all are now blocked. The hook is missing. Surviving length 22mm Width 17mm. See Read (2008, 99, no.370). 17th century.

Incomplete post-medieval silver, gilded hooked tag. Originally triangular sheet back-plate forming a cusped flange around the edge, with two of originally three plain, hollow domed bosses soldered to the upper face, each encircled by twisted silver wire, and two surviving pellets also encircled with twisted wire. One corner of the plate is missing with a scar from the third boss before the break. On the reverse is a scar from the missing separate soldered attachment loop, and the incomplete remains of a separate soldered hook. The gilding has mostly worn away.

The hook and loop are incomplete. Very similar to an example in Read (2008, 103, no.398). Surviving length 33mm. Surviving width 17mm. 16th - 17th century.

An incomplete copper alloy composite dress hook, Read (2008) Class C type 3. The plate is hollow and semicircular in section with narrow flange to either side, with a convex front-plate decorated with a cross-hatched panel inlaid with niello with a transverse niello line above and below. A circular sectioned rearward facing hook protrudes from the base. The back-plate is incomplete, and the upper edge of the front-plate is broken. Length 28mm. Width 14.5mm. Cf. Read (2008, 54, no.168 and 169). 16th century.

Medieval or post-medieval silver, gilded dress hook. Lozengiform plate with trefoil knops formed from pellets at each corner, with a fourth pellet surviving on two terminals on top of the three forming the trefoil, and a single pellet in the centre of each edge. The plate is divided into four crosshatched lozengiform fields by a saltire cross formed from a large central pellet, double-ribbed arms with trefoil terminals, and a smaller pellet in each internal angle.
