Rectangular plate, tapering slightly towards theworn and probably broken attachment edge, broken at the transverse fold, back-plate missing, slot for pin, two rivet holes behind slot, one central rivet hole, the attachment edge possibly broken across two more. Single line engraved border and tiny trace of gilding. Frame and pin missing. Measuring 31 x 15mm. Late 12th - 14th century.

Medieval copper alloy buckle. Asymmetric double-looped frame with one larger oval loop and one smaller rectangular loop. Notch for pin on outside edge, bar widening towards the centre before recess for the sheet pin. Measuring 30 x 34.5mm. External width of rectangular loop 21mm, internal width 16mm. See an example from a 1400 - 1450 context in Egan and Pritchard (2002, 103, fig.65, no.472).

Medieval copper alloy buckle. Double-oval frame, narrowed central bar with short projections beyond frame at either end, faceted sheet pin. Frame slightly angled. Measuring 30 x 22mm. See examples from circa 1270 - 1400 contexts (Egan and Pritchard, 2002, 88, fig.54, nos.380 and 386) and examples dated circa 1500 - 1650 (Whitehead, 2003, 54, nos.303, 307 and 312). Probably 13th - 15th century.

Late medieval or post-medieval copper alloy buckle. Double-oval frame with narrowed central bar with filed grooves defining a transverse rib on the frame at either end of the bar. Two transverse grooves on one outside edge form the pin rest. The sheet pin is broken, and has patinated a different shade of green from the frame. Measuring 30 x 25mm. See Whitehead (2003, 54, no.302) for a broadly similar example. 1400 - 1650.

Front-plate only, rectangular, broken across slot for missing pin, recessed for missing frame, two rivet holes now blocked with corrosion behind slot, upper face decorated with probably rocker arm engraved border around a central ring with very slight traces of gilding. The rear edge has a rectangular recess. Surviving length 26mm. Width 14mm. Circa 13th - 15th century.
