Copper alloy D-shaped buckle frame with single lobe at both ends of narrowed bar, at junctions of sides and outside edge, tri-lobed knop in centre of outside edge, with very worn traces of stamped ring-and-dots. There is iron staining on the bar and one side. Pin missing. For a very similar example in better condition see NMS-7FFC95. Many other frames quite close in form have been recorded. Near parallels have been found at Horsham St Faith (Norfolk HER 50700) and Southrepps (Norfolk HER 51114). Measuring 24 x 28mm. 11th century.

Angled oval frame with trasnverse ridge before integral plate with hole for (missing) pin and single rivet hole before transverse break accross two probably originally rectangular apertures. Frame 14 x 17mm. Plate at least 7 x 12mm. Similar elements to buckles in WHitehead (2003, 35, no.202 and 205). 13th - 14th century.

Medieval copper alloy buckle plate. Recessed for (missing) frame, slot for (missing) pin, broken accross fold. Slightly convex sides waisted before convex attachment end. Three rivet holes divided from each other by three lines of engraved rocker-arm leaving a Y-shaped field central field. The engraved lines now survive proud of the surface which must originally have been gilded although no trace of gilding now survives. Similar to an example in Whitehead (2003, 18, no.48) c. 1250 - 1500. Length 23mm. Width 15mm.

Medieval copper alloy buckle-plate. Rectangular, recessed for (missing) frame, slot for (missing) pin, broken at transverse fold, back-plate missing. Two rivet holes at attachment end retain corroded iron rivets. Plate decorated with a raised border around a highly stylised bird or wyvern in very low relief facing right, perghaps originally reserved on a field of enamel, now missing. The neck, body and tail of the bird are covered by rows of pecking in which gilding survives. There are further traces of gilding on the border. Length 36mm. Width 21mm. 12th - 13th century.

Medieval copper alloy buckle apparently made from a strap-slide. Rectangular frame with convex sides, outside edge and attachment edge. There are two short internal projections. The outside edge is cast in the form of a stylised king's head longitudinally set with triple-lobed crown and large, angular nose. Sub-rectangular sheet plate with hole for large sheet pin, broken just past fold, front-plate missing, with a single copper alloy rivet at attachment end.
