Medieval copper alloy buckle. Incomplete oval frame with off-set, narrowed bar, the outside edge expanded to form three lobes, each with a separate dome-headed rivet. One rivet is missing with the frame broken across the rivet hole. One side, pin and most of bar missing. Traces of gilding. Measuring (reconstructed) 27 x 28.5mm. For a similar, complete example, see Whitehead (2003, 24, no.110). 13th - 14th century.

Medieval or post-medieval copper alloy buckle. Double-oval frame, flat-backed, bevelled on the inner and outer edges on the front face, narrowed bar with copper alloy sheet pin. The bar contincues across and slightly beyond the side of the frame as a transverse rib. On each outside edge is a pair of cusped mouldings. Measuring 31 x 27mm. Circa 15th - 17th century. Although clearly not a die-duplicate, the cusped mouldings are similar to those on another buckle from Norfolk (NMS-F22F27 / NHER36793).

Buckle. A distorted frame with a notched lip on the outside edge and a ridge on either side of the frame before a tapering integral plate. The hole for the (missing) pin is filled with corrosion. There is a rivet hole in the plate filled with corroded iron, and the worn end of the plate may be broken across a second rivet hole. Of a similar type, but with no exact parallel, to examples in Whitehead (2003, 33). Frame 19 x 18mm. Plate 15 x 9mm.

Medieval copper alloy buckle. Rectnagular-sectioned frame with off-set, narrowed bar, convex sides and straight, expanded outside edge recessed for the (missing) sheet roller. The bar has a central notch, presumabely to help keep the pin in position, although the sheet pin is too wide to be held by the notch and may therefore be a replacement. Measuring 20 x 18mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard (2002, 73, fig.44, no.288 and 298). 13th - 14th century.

Post-medieval copper alloy buckle. Asymetric double looped frame, one loop D-shaped witha large 'fan-shaped' knop on the outside edge, one loop trapezoidal. Flat-backed, bevelled edges, transverse ridge forming a small knop on the sides at either end of the bar. The bar is completely concealed by the iron pin and corrosion. Measuring 24 x 15mm.
