Post-medieval silver buckle. Rectangular frame with rounded corners, expanded drilled sides for the separate corroded iron spindle around which the ends of the button chape are folded. Pin missing. There is a stamped maker's mark on the chape next to the spindle of a lion passant. Frame 18 x 14mm. Chape 16mm long. Weight 2.4g.
