Alabaster figure of a knight, carved in the round, broken and incomplete, comprising eight joining fragments. The knight is missing most of one ear, one elbow, his hands and most of his legs. He has ring-and-dots for eyes, exaggeratedly large perforated ears, protruding lips and a beard around his cheeks and chin but no moustache. He wears a conical helmet with nasal (nose-guard) and a long-sleeved mail hauberk under his surcoat. Stone axehead. Pointed oval section, rounded butt expanding with slightly convex sides to a curved cutting edge from which a large recent chip is missing. A Neolithic fully polished stone axe of pale olive colour with a few minor ancient chips to both ends. There is a larger sub-conchoidal recent damage flake removed towards the middle of one face, the stone in this facet is of a grey/green nature and is unpatinated showing the original colour of the rock. The lateral edges are sharply faceted and the cutting edge shows signs of being re-flaked and reground, thus the axe may have been much larger originally. Surviving dimensions: 114.5 x 65 x 32mm. Perforated object, Mesolithic or Neolithic mace head or pebble hammer fashioned from a naturally water worn pebble of mid-brown Quartzite with an hour glass perforation pecked and drilled from both sides. The hole measure 32mm diameter on one face and 26mm on the other, and narrows to 12mm at the centre. There are some areas of wear to the edges though this may be due to natural forces. Described from a photograph. Probably medieval incomplete lavastone millstone, about half surviving. Broken across a central rectangular hole, with a smaller rectangular hole or deep indentation next to it, the visible surface covered with multiple irregular radiating, curving grooves. A 30cm ruler used as a scale in the photograph indicates the stone's surviving measurements are circa 350 x 580mm.

Unidentified object, perhaps a floor tile or wet stone. Sandstone or quartzite, rectangular-sectioned, two long sides forming a right-angle, two short (and perhaps broken) sides, the fifth side deeply concave. The concave edge and one face are very smooth as if worn. Broken relatively recently, now in two conjoining pieces. Despite the suggestive shape it seems unlikely to be a tile cut to fit around a curved edge as the edge is so well smoothed. Measuring 95 x 95mm. 18mm thick at maximum.

Upper part of a beehive rotary quern in coarse grained sandstone. Sub-circular, with wide off-centre hopper tapering slightly towards the base, circular handle-slot in side which penetrates through to the hopper. On the upper edge there is a wedge-shaped groove with a u-shaped profile, 40mm long and 20mm wide at maximum. Diameter at base 240 - 255mm. Height 145mm. Behive querns were in use over a long period and are not very closely dateable. They are known from Iron Age and Roman contexts.
