Longitudinal curve partially formed by a large scar from natural shatter flake pre-knapping, some partial polishing towards the curved blade, straight sides tapering twards the rounded butt. Differential patination with one face appearing dark grey / black and the other paler, cloudy grey. Neolithic, perhaps late Neolithic. Length 128mm. Maximum width 53mm. Maximum thickness 18mm.

Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age very unusual and simple arrowhead, with tang but no barbs, apparently made on a fortuitously shaped flake fragment which only required bilateral and bifacial retouch at one end to form a sharp point. Unpatinated. Probably Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age, when barbed and tanged arrowheads were in use.

Neolithic flint axe, found around 1952 - 56, of elongated, narrow-butted form, and of lenticular section with straight lateral edges tapering immediately from the cutting edge, all of the larger knapping scars are completely ground and polished out over the whole surface, with particularly fine polishing around the gently curved cutting edge. Transect 15/16. Probably Palaeolithic. Small sub-triangular tertiary flake with heavy off-white patination with patchy iron staining. Two recent chips reveal grey flint. Probably palaeolithic due to the thickness of the patination although otherwise undiagnostic. Unretouched. 58 x 25 x 7mm. Neolithic. Large secondary flake with retouch down one side. 84 x 34 x 12mm. Late Neolithic - Early Bronze Age small, circular tertiary 'thumbnail' scraper retouched on all edges. Diameter 23 - 25mm, 5mm thick. Six Neolithic - Bronze Age flint flakes with retouch, edge wear or damage to edges.
