Roman hinged bow brooch. Broken, corroded and worn, with trumpet-like head and oval-sectioned bow. Catch-plate, pin, axis bar and part of head missing. The surface is powdery and cracked and may be burnt. Surviving length 47mm. Surviving width 15mm. 1st century AD.

Medieval or post-medieval silver, gilded finger ring. Shallow D-sectioned band with a ridge at the edge on the outer face and very worn decoration consisting of angled lines dividing the outer face into five sections, with further engraved decoration surviving only at the edges as short dashes, perhaps originally multiple stamped annulets, scales, crosshatching or similar. Medieval silver brooch with circular, open frame, almost circular-sectioned with slight flattening on the inside, inlaid with niello in a combination of encircling and criss-crossed lines, now very worn in places. The pin is cast in the form of a sword, with a tapering lozengiform-section, upwardly curved quillons with scrolled ends, and tabs folded around the frame to form the attachment loop.
