Three Iron Age silver units, fused together. Only two faces are visible, one of each coin at the two ends of the pile. One is the obverse of an Icenian Pattern-Horse type, the other the reverse of an ECEN Pattern-Horse type. Given that they are fused together it is certain that these coins were concealed together and thus represent a hoard. The date of deposition of this hoard could lie at any time between the very late 1st century BC and the period of the Boudiccan revolt or even a little later.

Iron Age ring-headed pin, cast in one with ring joined to the shoulder by a bulbous moulding between two low ribs with continuous transverse grooves giving the appearance of pellets. Iron Age coin hoard consisting of two gold staters. Both are Norfolk wolf staters, so-called JB types with a left facing wolf (Cottam et al 2010, Ancient British Coinage, p.78, no.1399). The two coins were found approximately 40 yards apart and they must represent part of a dispersed coin hoard. The larger, paler example weighs 5.14g, the smaller, darker coin 5.27g. The coins were made between about 50-20 BC. Date of loss of deposition will have been in the closing decades of the first century BC, c.30-10BC

59 silver denarii ranging in date from issues of the Roman Republic to those of Tiberius. The coins were found scattered over a relatively small area and clearly represent part of a hoard scattered by agricultural activity. Wear patterns are consistent with this, the older coins generally being the most worn. Dating is difficult and one's initial reaction is to connect this hoard to the Roman invasion of AD43. Upper part of a beehive rotary quern in coarse grained sandstone. Sub-circular, with wide off-centre hopper tapering slightly towards the base, circular handle-slot in side which penetrates through to the hopper. On the upper edge there is a wedge-shaped groove with a u-shaped profile, 40mm long and 20mm wide at maximum. Diameter at base 240 - 255mm. Height 145mm. Behive querns were in use over a long period and are not very closely dateable. They are known from Iron Age and Roman contexts.

The socket tapers towards a pair of transverse mouldings before flaring for the widley splayed blade, which thins towards the missing cutting edge. The upper part of the socket, and the cutting edge are missing, with irregular breaks. There is an orange / brown patina over the surface. Length at least 45mm. Width of cutting edge at least 35mm. A hoard consisting of two terrets and a mount. 1. A complete oval winged or lipped terret. The attachment bar is recessed and rectangular in section with circular mouldings at either end. A piece of gold wire made from four strands twisted. The wire was made from 4 smaller wires (diameter c. 2.4 mm) twisted together in a clockwise spiral giving an overall diameter for the twisted wire of 5 mm. The wire piece weighs 7.24g and is 20mm long (unstraightened). The fragment appears to have been cut from a larger piece of wire at one end, although the other end appears to be a break. Analysis shows these wires are made of over 80% gold.

A fragment of a late Iron Age-early Roman copper alloy Rosette or Langton Down brooch. Only part of the foot survives. It is slightly splayed and has five vertical grooves and a scar of the catch-plate on the reverse.
