Late Saxon cloisonné enamel gilt copper alloy disc brooch with seven lobes, each originally containing a glass sphere. Apart from these tiny missing pieces of glass, the brooch is in remarkable condition with gilding present over most of the metal surfaces, even on the edges of the cells, & the enamel cells are brightly coloured. Soldered onto the reverse are a pin lug consisting of two lugs with a wire pin looped around an copper alloy spindle held by the lugs, & a short, low catchplate. Late Bronze Age incomplete copper alloy sword. Three fragments of blade were found on arable land on both sides of a stream, almost certainly as a result of spreading after dredging. Very corroded showing linear traces of vegetable matter, broken, now in three joining pieces (42 x at least 294mm), heavily notched edges to blade, slightly bent at tip. None of the breaks is recent.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Bow-and-fantail brooch. There is a cast head loop, and short tubular wings enclose the axis bar. There is a fragment of the copper alloy pin. There are slight traces of vertical grooves on the bow which expands towards the break where most of what would have been a triangular fantail and catch-plate are missing. , 16 x 29mm. This brooch can be dated from the second half of the 1st century into the mid 2nd century.

Early Saxon fragment of copper alloy Small Square-headed brooch, bow and head-plate missing, break not ancient. Short 'cross-potent' arms and foot with bordering punched dots, relief decoration comprising crude central lozenge with four asymmetrically placed dots within two concentric lozengiform mouldings, the outer decorated with median line of punched dots, 34 x at least 37mm. Of a type originating in Kent and more commonly found in southern England (MacGregor and Bolick (1993) 120). Early-mid sixth century AD.

A Roman copper alloy pin which is 30mm in length and is likely to have been used in furniture upholstery. It has a globular head with a diameter of 8mm, a short sub-rectangular sectioned shank. Similar examples have been found at Colchester (Crummy 1983, fig.116).
