Unidentified medieval silver object, perhaps part of a reliquary pendant. Sub-oval sheet, pointed at one end and rounded at the other forming a teardrop-shape. On one face within a narrow plain border the letters Ihc in black letter are reserved on a crosshatched ground. The letters are those of the sacred trigram, representing the name of Jesus, and probably relate to the Cult of the Holy Name of Jesus, which was popular in the 15th and early 16th century. Iron Age socketed terminal mount in the form of a bull's head. Circular-sectioned socket filled with orange-stained soil, perhaps from iron corrosion, with four evenly spaced rivet holes between two very fine engraved lines around the edge. One of the rivet holes is broken through and there is a ragged crack extending 11mm from the edge, possibly caused by internal corrosion forcing the socket apart. Post-medieval silver cuff-link. Circular, with angled flange, crown above two hearts in low relief reserved on a stippled field. Separate loop soldered to reverse. Diameter 13mm. Weight 0.6g. The crowned hearts may refer to the marriage of Charles II to Catherine of Braganza in 1662.

Medieval copper alloy harness fitting or possible chape. Triangular lower half, semi-circular in section with a fully rounded discoidal terminal at the point. From the upper, straight edge a thinner slightly domed sectioned projects decorated with transverse lines connected by off-set longitudinal lines imitating a brickwork pattern, with a rounded end, and a large central hole for a (missing) rivet. Substantial traces of gilding survive over the whole front face and discoidal terminal. Length 48.5mm. Maximum surviving width 21mm. Maximum thickness 10mm.

Basal mount with two (distorted) rectangular strap loops and Y-shaped upright rotating stem for the suspension of two horse harness pendants. An unusual feature is the bifurcation near the top of the stem, just above which the two parts split into two round-ended pierced arms. Normally the stem holds a banner or a single pendant set sideways at the top (N. Griffiths FRG Datasheet 5 (1986) figs .22-3) or multiple arms (normally four) spring from a rotating sphere (ibid. figs. 24-5). Loops c.15 x 6mm internally. Length c.57mm. Height 43mm. Silver annular brooch. The circular frame is in the form of two snakes which overlap at their necks, the heads pointing away from the frame. Each elongated head has a pointed muzzle, small projecting ears, and a line forming the closed mouth. One pellet eye survives on each head. One half of the frame is flat sectioned with a pair of median engraved lines along the back, and pairs on tiny pecked notches to either side, possibly representing scales.
