Post-medieval gold signet ring. The band is flat internally with three external facets, expanding smoothly through the shoulders before a flat, octagonal bezel. The bezel is deeply engraved with a beaded border around a shield bearing A lion rampant, the helm is unusually small and is crowned with a ducal coronet above which the crest comprises A boar's head couped.
