One half of a post-medieval silver cuff-link. Circular, with angled flange, crown above two hearts in low relief reserved on a stippled field, now very worn. Separate loop soldered to reverse. Diameter 14mm. Weight 0.8g. A well known type, see similar examples recorded on the PAS database including SUSS-E88264, SWYOR-52C053, NMS-3C11C7 and NMS-BE7442. The crowned hearts may refer to the marriage of Charles II to Catherine of Braganza in 1662.
