Unidentified and undated fragment of silver, gilded object. Curved, concave on both wide faces, narrowing slightly from one end towards the other, the outer edge knurled (multiple closely spaced transverse ribs) between narrow raised borders at either edge, the inner edge slightly convex and plain. Broken at both ends, one break extending around to the inner edge slightly leaving the possibility that there was an internal projection. Thickness 3mm. Width 7 - 9.5mm. Weight 2.5g.
