A gold solidus of the emperor Theodosius I struck at Milan between 378 and 387 (Roman Imperial Coinage vol. IX, no. 5f or 8b). The group comprises four silver denarii. The earliest, showing some wear, is of Domitian whilst the other three are in crisper condition and show very little signs of circulation. Incomplete Romano-British copper alloy protected-loop terret. Just over half of the circular-sectioned ring, which springs from a collar with a deep groove on each long face, is missing. Almost all of the original edge of the skirt is missing, the one short section of surviving edge possibly suggesting a multifoil form, with a curved, round-sectioned attachment loop benieth. Medieval copper alloy casket mount or binding strip, highly corroded. Transverse and angled mouldings at either end of a section of triangular-sectioned bar, broken accross a rivet hole at one end, with a flat-sectioned terminal with two rivet holes at the other. Slight traces of gilding survive on the otherwise corroded surface. Surviving length 65mm. Width 10mm. 12th - 14th century.

Roman copper alloy furniture fitting or possibly a lock pin. A corroded and broken rectangular-sectioned shank with a circular-sectioned terminal consisting of a double-moulded collar, before tapering towards a collared, rounded knop at the apex. Total surviving length 41mm. Terminal length 22mm, diameter 9mm. Shank at most complete point 5 x 8mm. Silver finger ring of Henig's type XI with wide bezel set with an oval disc showing a scene in relief. This features a male figure reclining to the left; he holds out what appears to be a ewer towards a bird. This represents Ganymede, Jupiter's cupbearer offering a drink to his master in the form of an eagle. Depictions of Ganymede and the Eagle together with representations of Leda and the Swan and Cupid and Psyche are common in the late Roman Empire, the themes of metamorphosis and apotheosis being especially popular in that period. A tiny fragment of silver finger ring. A flat sectioned fragment of the band, expanding in a smooth curve to a fragment of shoulder or bezel with at least two indentations, survives. Probably Roman, possibly similar to a white metal example in Crummy (1983, fig. 52, no.1791).

Fragments of silver snake finger-ring of Johns (1996) Type C, a form "which incorporates two or more complete snakes in the design" (Johns 1997, 35-7): two lengths of wire, both with a snake-head terminal and one end missing, form a loose reef knot . Part of a probably separate object, a pin with a small biconical head, passes through the centre of the knot. All three fragments move freely, although the pin is held in place by the other two pieces and cannot be withdrawn. 1st - 2nd century.

Parallel transverse engraved lines either side of setting and further engraved wavy lines around setting. The hoop, at its narrowest (2mm x <1mm), expands and rises to an oval (13mm x 8mm) bezel, which an angular S-shaped divider splits into two equal sized cells filled with glass, one translucent blue or turquoise, the other opaque and decayed, perhaps red or green. Silver circular disc, probably a bezel from a finger ring. The disc features a diademed head engraved in intaglio facing to the right. Encircling this is the retrograde and somewhat garbled legend ANTONI VIVAS IN DEO. Several of the letters are back-to-front but the meaning is relatively clear. The formula VIVAS IN DEO is a Christian one, the translation of this inscription being 'Antonius, may you live in God'. Fragment of silver Roman finger ring. The rear and one side of the oval to D-sectioned hoop is missing, expanding smoothly from the breaks through the shoulders before small notches on either side defining the edge of the oval bezel. The shoulders are decorated with a pair of grooves following each edge. In the centre of the bezel a plain, integral oval boss stands in relief imitating a setting.
