A miscast and unfinished Dolphin brooch with undecorated shallow 'C' sectioned wings which are partially filled with miscast metal, with the stub of a possible hook at the top where there is a further miscast protrusion. The D-sectioned bow is decorated with a median longitudinal groove with raised sides, the lower half of the bow has an irregular surface, again due to miscasting. There is a complete trapezoidal catchplate on the reverse which has not been hammered out and bent over. The pin was never attached. Width 27mm. Length 51mm.

Treasure report by Adrian Marsden: A hoard of cu alloy objects found in close association with one another and very close to a radiate imitation manufacturer's hoard found in November 2004 (see file). These comprise two RB bracelets and 10 sestertii of the second century. The coins, where condition at deposition can be ascertained, were all heavily worn, suggesting a mid-third century date. Roman intaglio. Oval carnelian with flat upper face and bevelled edges on the reverse, with a thin rectangular-sectioned gold band around the edge. The upper face is engraved with a naked male standing figure facing left holding stems of corn in his left hand, and an unidentified object is his right, with drapery falling from his left arm. SECVND INI is engraved on the left edge of the gem in retrograde, the N and D ligatured. Measuring 13 x 10mm. Thickness 2mm. Weight 0.5g. 43 - 410 AD.

Incomplete Romano-British copper alloy protected-loop terret. Just over half of the circular-sectioned ring, which springs from a collar with a deep groove on each long face, is missing. Almost all of the original edge of the skirt is missing, the one short section of surviving edge possibly suggesting a multifoil form, with a curved, round-sectioned attachment loop benieth. The surviving part of the ring, which does not appear to be distorted, shows the loop was a shallow oval. Surviving height 32mm. Surviving length and width of skirt 32mm and 24mm. Late 1st century.

Copper alloy prick spur with a high tin content and tin enriched surface giving silvered appearance. It is a 'rivet-spur' type with a heel-plate containing the corroded remains of iron goad. The point is missing, and it has a slightly domed head on reverse. The object is rectangular-sectioned with a broken hook above and bifurcated decorative lobe below.
