Post-medieval silver bodkin or headdress pin. Rectangular-sectioned, tapering to the blunt point, broken across the rectangular slot at the upper end, the terminal missing. Decorated alike on both faces with two transverse lines below the slot from the lower of which multiple longitudinal engraved lines descend, lengthening towards the centre. There are no marks on the surviving part of the bodkin, which is cracked and slightly distorted along the whole length. Surviving length 86mm. Maximum surviving width 4mm. Post-medieval copper alloy spur fragment. Oval-sectioned bar broken either side of the neck, with a shallow groove following the upper external edge, which is pointed above the neck. The down-tured neck consists of a globular moulding and double grooves before the incomplete rowel box which is broken before the attachment for the (missing) rowel. Surviving wdth 46mm. Post-medieval copper alloy dress hook. Rectangular attachmnt loop below which the plate is decorated with two groups of four symetrically placed openwork apertures separated by a worn, moulded element above a V-shaped rib in low relief, the point of which terminates at the springing of the incomplete collared hook. The decoration is worn but very similar to better preserved examples recorded on the PAS database, including LIN-E98142, LIN-6900E0 and LVPL-702595. See also Read (2008), 104, no.402 - 404. Two silver groats of Henry VII, both struck at London between 1507 and 1509. Both have little wear and were found within 15 feet of one another. These coins are uncommon as stray finds and the presence of two so close together surely indicates that they comprise part of a hoard lost or deposited in the area and subsequently dispersed by agricultural activity. The lack of wear suggests that loss or deposition took place not many years after the coins were struck, probably circa 1510-25. One half of a post-medieval silver cuff-link. Circular, with angled flange, crown above two hearts in low relief reserved on a stippled field, now very worn. Separate loop soldered to reverse. Diameter 14mm. Weight 0.8g. A well known type, see similar examples recorded on the PAS database including SUSS-E88264, SWYOR-52C053, NMS-3C11C7 and NMS-BE7442. The crowned hearts may refer to the marriage of Charles II to Catherine of Braganza in 1662.

A gold posy ring with a shallow D-sectioned band which is undecorated externally, and inscribed internally In thy sight is my delight followed by a stamped maker's mark within a square, possibly JD. The D is clear, but the first letter of the maker's mark is less certain. The band is now distorted, and slightly damaged at points along the edges.
