The object is cruciform in shape, comprising a central rectangular panel from which project four animal-heads, forming the arms of the cross. Description: Silver hooked tag of probable late Anglo-Saxon date. The plate is circular with two circular perforations at one end, for attachment to clothing by sewing. At the other end is a complete rearward-facing hook, curving back beneath the object and ending in a sharp point. Octofoil plate with three attachment holes, one in each of the upper three foils, with a short, sharp hook springing from the lower foil. The surface is engraved and inlaid with niello to form a cruciform motif formed from four arches or C-shapes with two connecting transverse lines between each arm, leaving a central cruciform field or cell. Very similar to SF-1EFD68 and 2004T372 (Read, 2008, 17, nos.74 and 75).

Lozengiform plate with four lozengiform apertures formed by a diagonal cross with round bosses in very low relief at the centre of the cross, the corners of the lozengiform frame and to either side of the flat base. The mount is otherwise plain. Broken across the upper aperture, the apex loop missing. Right-angle flange with single rivet hole filled with the remains of the corroded iron rivet.
