Awl. Slightly curved, pointed and circular sectioned at one end, thickening towards centre, clearly defined change to rectangular section, tapering to narrow chisel-like end. Length 57mm, maximum thickness 6.7mm, width of chisel end 2mm. Similar examples from Flag Fen (Coombs in Pryor, 2001, 266, fig. 10.6, no. 65 – 68).

Incomplete Late Bronze Age copper alloy awl. It is square in section at the centre and tapers to a rectangular-sectioned shank which is flaring slightly to the broken end. The other end is circular-sectioned and tapers to a broken point. Its length is at least 48mm.
