Lead harness boss. Cast disc with the heraldic motif of a crooked arm with prominent cuff springing from a horizontal bar and brandishing a bar or charter within a broad border which bears vegetal motifs against a ground incorporating finely hatched zones. The front bears white metal plating; the back has two deep pits from fixing points. Probably for the festive decoration of horse harness. Now bent forward. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900

Lead spindle whorl. Cast cylindrical whorl with a central moulded aperture of diameter 11.2mm, either miscast or more probably part-melted, Walton Rogers form B. Eight wide radial cuts or grooves appear on one side of the whorl: this texture or decoration has recently been noted as a most unusual feature of another whorl reported recently from the immediate vicinity. The spindle hole size could admit an Anglo-Scandinavian date. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 1000-1100

Cast plano-convex or angular D-section band with a constriction serving as seat for a separate pin [lost], and with six drilled conical pits of diameter 2.1mm distributed symmetrically round the inward-sloping surface of a billeted and possibly cross-cut band. The pits have presumably lost small stones or insets of another material. The surface bears an appealing patina. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350
