Silver finger ring. Cast band of rectangular section, expanding to form a bezel of elongated hexagonal form bearing the moulded image of a horse galloping right against an uneven or stippled ground, possibly intended to retail enamel though no trace of colorant remains. It might alternatively have functioned as a signet ring. The motif probably conveys the sporting interests of the finder. Suggested date: post-Medieval, 1750-1850.

Silver gilt finger ring bezel. Cast rectangular section band fragment of width 4.2mm and thickness 1.2mm with a figurative openwork bezel soldered to it; the rest of the band is lost. The bezel comprises a bifoliate crown with large central fleur springing from a heart flanked by a pair of quatrefoils. The finder kindly notes the identification by the UK Metal Detectorist's Database of comparable pieces as being of 15th-century date.
