Silver coin. Possibly a copy of Denarius of Septimius Severus (193-211). The notation on reverse would indicate an issue of 210, as RIC Volume 4 part 1 no. 241. Obverse description: Bearded bust laureate right. Obverse inscription: SEVERVS PIVS AVG Reverse description: Neptune standing left with right foot on rock and right hand on leg, holding trident in left hand. Reverse inscription: PMTRPXVIII[CO]SIIIPP. Cliff Reeves kindly identified this coin. Diameter: 19mm, Weight: 2.57gms, die axis 6.
