Silver gilt pilgrim badge. A circular plate bearing the framed image of the Virgin and Child, the Virgin crowned and with sceptre and the Child haloed, viewed against a cross-hatched ground within a cabled inner border, a gutter, and an outer frame which is externally lined. A probably integrally cast D-section bar passes behind the image and across its flat plain back and is broken at the site of a sharp curve. Gilded overall, chipped.
