Silver mount. Concavo-convex cast plaque with six integral pins of length 6mm on the reverse. The convex display face bears impressed or stamped motifs: a pair of elongated ovals with billeted borders, with pellets at either end and where they meet; corner motifs of inward-pointing arrows with three sub-triangular hatched stamps between each, all within linear borders. Outside these borders the corners of the plaque are crescentic, with sub-rectangular zones of hatched decoration between them, rendered with a stamp of a diagonal line with triangular or toothed ornament. Silver Finger Ring. Cast ring; traces of stamped or incised decoration remain on the outside of the band, perhaps including the depiction of a buckle, now reduced to a smoothed rib. A hallmark is stamped on the inside of the ring: probably Birmingham assay office (anchor); if year stamp is Y then for 1873. There is an adjacent maker's or owner's stamp of letters GG:L. Silver Finger Ring. Cast finger ring with stamped and applied decoration of leaves and flowers. The band is formed of a long rectangle of metal with angled ends (one lost), wrapped around a former. The finder notes the presence inside the band of the Birmingham assay mark (anchor), and a maker's stamp: B&N (or M). Suggested date: Modern, 1820-1900. Internal diameter (as found): 12.8mm, Band Width: 6.7mm, Band thickness: 1.3mm, Weight: 1.85gms.

Silver Coin. Half Crown or Florin. Milled edges. Victoria (1837-1901), possibly issue of 1849-1851 (Spink 2004, no. 3890 gives similar reverse to this). Reverse description: Crowned Arms of England, Scotland, England (?again) and Ireland, with roses on stems in two angles, other flowers in others, all under tressured arches. Apparently a flower in centre - not obviously a rose. Obverse is obliterated, apparently melted, and coin is bent. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1689-1702 Diameter: 30.29mm, Weight: 11.04gms.

Silver and copper alloy brooch. Cast silver square section ring (1.75-2.1mm square) with fastening gear behind comprising a hinge for the pin (lost) and a wire loop opposite, with a pressed copper alloy concavo-convex badge fitted tightly into the ring. The ring has butted ends and may have been crimped about the badge, which was presumably also soldered in place. Silver thimble. Pressed metal conical thimble with rounded top. A scalloped base bears very fine indentations and a vegetal scroll is applied to thiszone. Above it a plain field bears further rouletted scrolls, probably again of a floral or vegetal design. Silver clog clasp. Cast oval ended plate with a folded lunate tab at its curved end and a short oval lug at the other, also folded. The back of the plate bears the incised and hatched letters IBL. Hallmarks on the smaller tab comprise a bust right in an oval and a lion left in a sub-rectangular panel. These may suggest a date of 1812-1837 for Birmingham plate, or 1836-1875 for London.
