Copper alloy brooch of La Tene III, Nauheim derivative type. The brooch appears to have been constructed from a single piece of wire. The foot has been hammered flat and curled back to form a vertical catchplate. The bow is simple, not significantly arched and undecorated. The spring coil curves to one side then wraps around underneath the bow, curving around to the other side and forming the pin.

Cast copper alloy brooch, most likely to be a Langton Down variant type. The object is comprised mainly of the bow, although the remnants of the wings seem to indicate that they would have been tubular. The bow is very flat and decorated with four slightly raised lines (in two pairs set slightly apart). The only trace of the catchplate is a small vertical ridge towards the foot.

Headplate and bow from an early Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch made from copper alloy. A top knob survives but the side knobs are both missing. The pin is missing but traces of iron oxide survive. From the image, the brooch appears to have a trapezoidal raised central panel, decorated down either edge with double-crescent punchmarks, and two slightly flared wings. The bow begins with a flat-section panel, perhaps decorated with a horizontal line, and then is facetted below.
