A near complete copper alloy Crotal bell of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1750). The object is composed of two hemispheres which are divided by a raised circumferential rib. There are two circular sound holes in the upper hemisphere. The loop projects from the top of the upper hemisphere. The lower hemisphere has two sound holes joined by a narrow slot. Surrounding this is a band of moulded pointed oval panels in a sunburst or flowerhead pattern. The object has a dark greenish patina and there is no makers mark.

A post-medieval copper alloy sword belt fitting dating to the 16th or 17th century. The fitting consists of an elongated hanger and a squat sub-triangular pendant. The hanger is made of one elongated piece of copper alloy, plano-convex in section, and folded over. The face of the hanger is decorated with a moulded zoomorphic decoration consisting of a large semi-circular plume at the top. The terminal of the tail is at the top and takes the form of a semi-circular, ribbed plume. A narrow collar is located next to this which then leads into a large sub-rectangular body.…

A medieval lead spindle whorl. The whorl is biconical and has a central circular hole of 8mm diameter. Both sides are decorated with four moulded lines dividing each facing into quarters. In each quarter are three moulded pellets. The design possibly imitates the long cross and pellets seen on many silver coinage issues of the 13th and 14th centuries.

A near complete Post Medieval copper alloy book clasp, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The object is made of rectangular plate which is mostly straight sided barring a flared attachment end, and a blunt, rearward facing hook. The flared edge is undulating, created through three triangular cut outs. Two circular copper alloy rivets sit at the centre of the flared end. An incomplete Roman copper alloy umbonate brooch. The brooch has a slightly domed body with a small sub-triangular tab extending at the base. A catchplate is locate behind this tab. The domed body is decorated with a central recessed circle surrounded by a band of inward pointing triangular recessed cells. A similar outer band encloses this inner band. The cells would once have contained enamel; traces of blue survive in some cells. The upper part of the brooch is missing.

A Roman copper alloy bow and fantail brooch dating circa AD75-150. The wings are cylindrical and undecorated. The upper bow has a moulded, incomplete crest. A large circular boss is located on the front of the bow. This is recessed and has a central pellet of reserve metal. The recessed area contains traces of enamel. Three transversly moulded ribs are located below the circular boss. The foot is triangular and is divided into three smaller triangular recessed cells. Each would once have contained enamel. A solid catchplate is located on the reverse. The pin is missing.

An early-medieval copper alloy brooch dating to the late 5th or early 6th century. Only the headplate and upper bow survive; these may indicate the brooch is of the 'small long' type. The headplate is rectangular and is decorated with a recessed border containing a row of moulded pellets. A circular hole is located at each angle. The upper bow has a pair of moulded transverse grooves; the bow is incomplete thereafter. The back of the brooch has two copper alloy pierced lugs with an iron axis bar between them. Iron corrosion extends around this.

The spring, pin, and catchplate are missing.

The wings are cylindrical, undecorated, and contain an axis bar for a hinged pin; the latter is missing. The bow is sub-rectangular in section and is decorated with a central rope-like moulded rib set against a recessed strip. The catchplate is pierced.
