Description: An incomplete silver gilt sheet mount of probable medieval date. Originally roughly quatrefoil in shape the upper foil edge is now missing due to old breaks. Between each of the larger foils is a smaller rounded one. The front face is heavily gilded and decorated with a repousse design, which has been pressed through from the back face. A gilded silver mount of early medieval date. It is roughly oval-shaped and the front depicts a human mask flanked by stylised birds' heads. Substantial gilding survives across the front surface, with areas missing or worn off on the mask's brow and nose, and the outer border above the brow. The mask appears to wear a hood or head-dress which covers the hair and runs below the chin. In the centre is a triangular stamped motif with a central 'trunk' and several 'branches' on each side. Description: An incomplete silver possible button or mount most likely to be post medieval date. Circular in shape with a slightly domed front face, roughly half of the original edges survive; these are shaped and have small evenly spaced circular holes through them. There is a square scar in the centre of the back face indicating that there was a shaft/ loop or other form of attachment device originally present. A fragment of copper-alloy Anglo-Saxon mount. The mount is flat and originally circular-shaped (original total diameter would have been c47.5mm), with only a section of the outer band and inner decoration remaining. The border has an outer band of three-strand incised circumferencial grooves. The inner decoration contains three-strand interlace, in a continuous running interlace ribbon pattern. This is style II. Description: An incomplete gold and cloisonné garnet mount in the form of the upper body of a bird of prey in profile looking left, now slightly crushed and distorted. The bird has a curving pointed beak, a rounded head and waisted neck. The mount was made from a gold backplate, with beaded-wire filigree soldered around its edge so that it is visible from both front and reverse. Description: A silver probable decorative mount for which no published parallel could be found. Circular in shape and flat with a decorated front face, which has a border with small straight lines within it, there is then a central circular field which contains an octagonal probable flower motif with internal divisions depicting petals; the field behind the flower contains diagonal lines. The back face is undecorated and has no visible trace of any attachment device.

Small silver mount, complete, flat and rectangular in shape with a small circular rivet hole through each corner. The front is decorated with a slightly untidy design consisting of an engraved border groove around two engraved cross shapes which each use the border along the long edge to form the edge of the top and bottom arms. A complete lozenge shaped mount which is most likely to have originally have been attached via solder to a medieval annular brooch. The front face is decorated with a flower motif. A copper alloy Anglo Saxon mount of 7th century date. It is circular and has a slight split close to one edge, but is otherwise complete. It measures 30.55mm in diameter and is flat. The front face has a V-shaped ridge forming border just inside the edge. The split in the object is at the inner edge of this ridge. Within is a field with relief decoration of a double-stranded band of interlace, which is in three similar separate segments, with each segment having a twist at either end to make two curving terminals. A medieval circa 14th century copper alloy decorative harness mount. Complete and rectangular in shape, The front face is rounded and backface slightly concave. The terminals ends are rounded and have central elongated rounded knops projecting from them. There are rivet holes through each terminal, one of which has a copper alloy rivet in situ. There are transverse mouldings between the terminals and the centre of teh mount. The front face is also gilded. It measures 40.95mm in length and 8.20mm in width.

An incomplete copper-alloy early-medieval decorative mount. Roughly circular in shape with a rounded front face and concave flat back face. The mount is open work and appears to depicts an animal which curls around itself and may be biting its own tail, there are thinner vine-like tendrils and possible limbs curving around and between the main body of the beast. There is a possible circular drilled eye in the probable head area, where the two ends of the beast meet. Description: An incomplete silver mount, with a separate tiny adjoining fragment. This mount was circular in plan when complete and the front face is domed. Traces of a border survive with tiny decorative beading. The domed front face has a moulded star like motif with ten raised points, there is a ring and dot motif in the centre of the motif which is flat. The back face of this mount is undecorated and hollow, no means of attachment can be seen.
