An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill type. The spring, pin and foot are missing due to old breaks. The semi-cylindrical wings are extended and folded round at their terminals to form a short fully enclosed part at both ends. The wings are decorated with a transverse groove across the temrinal and a diagonal groove running from the bow to the transverse groove. An incomplete copper alloy Roman trumpet type bow brooch, missing pin, spring foot and catch plate. The head flares charatceristcially and there is a coper alloy axis bar with a fragment of the copper alloy pin in situ. There is a transverse moulding across the centre of the bow which has an oval section. The bow is tapering towards its missing tip. This brooch measures 36.25mm in length and 12.17mm in width.

A Roman copper alloy colchester derivative with rear hook type bow brooch. Missing the rear hook, spring, pin and catch plate due to old breaks. The wings are semi-cylindrical and decorated with transverse grooves at their tips and where the wings meet the bow between these there are two diagonal lines forming a cross shape are also present. An incomplete worn copper-aloy Roman bow brooch of knee type, similar in form, although not enamelled to Hattatt 1661 and 1222 (1989, fig 194). The head has a worn scar where it may have had a chain loop, the head is semi-cylindrical and missing the axis bar, the pin is also missing as it the foot of the brooch. The bow has a D-shaped section and tapers to a worn incomplete temrinal. This example measures 19.66mm in lenght and 8.49mm in width.

An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age early Roman Nauheim derivative brooch, One piece with two surviving spring coils, pin and remaining coils are missing. Flat bow with sloping shoulders and tapering terminal end is decorated with border grooves and rows of tiny curvilinear grooves. Similar to more simple example from Hacheston (Plouviez et al 2004, 89-90, fig 61, no 5). Measuring 31.49mm in length and 8.11mm in width.

The head has a cylindircal pin bar case, the bow has an upper swelling with a circular shaped indentation in its centre and then narrows before flaring out into an oval shaped terminal with two enamelled lozenge shapes. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman bow brooch of trumpet type, incomplete, missing most of chain loop and lower bow, only a fragment of a copper-alloy pin survives. The pin fragment is hinged on a copper-alloy bar which passes through an enclosed case. The head is plain apart from two border grooves along the upper edge. The bow has a triangular section due to a central longitudinal ridgeand has transverse mouldings at the break. The brooch measures 25.85mm in surviving length and 12.43mm in width across the head.

An incomplete Roman P-shaped brooch with a split bow, 2nd-3rd century in date, see Hattatt no 1250 (198 8, 367, fig 226). The head is cylindrical and hollow with holes through either end and traces of projections on the upper edge. Only one half of the split bow survives and it is curvilinear with a triangular section. It slants into the start of the foot which is fragmentary. Traces of gildingc an be seen on this brooch. It measures 25.39mm in length and 20.27mm in width.

The bow consistsed of three seperate curvilinear bars orignally and fragments of all three bars now survive. This brooch measures 19.47mm in surviving length and 18.28mm in width.
