Medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame with separate plate, probably of 14th or 15th century date The buckle is near-complete, missing the pin and is comparatively small (with an overall length of 30.7mm and a weight of 4.2g). The buckle is oval form (4.7mm long and 4.9mm wide) and the frame is D-shaped section, wider and thicker at the outside edge (1.6mm – 2.2mm wide and 2.5mm – 3.2mm thick).
