Unusual Roman copper alloy military harness fitting in the form of a pelta-shaped strap slide with a shallow moulded peripheral grooves on the front face, and an integral loop, the sides of which are concave-sided with a transverse basal groove. The linking bar is slightly bent inwards. Weight 6.91g. Length 15mm. Width 25mm. The loop is 19mm wide and 10.5mm deep internally. Mid 1st - early 2nd century.

Fragment of a figurine of Mercury, broken at the neck, only the head survives (and one possible hand).
