Silver seal matrix, of complex hollow construction from thick sheet, with internal collar to hold an oval setting for missing stone, sloping sides and flat appliqué rib with trefoil terminal at lower end and squashed hoop with pairs of bordering longitudinal ribs at the top on the reverse. Oval, 19 x 17mm. An inscription surrounds the setting. * MISERERE MEI DEVS (God have mercy on me, from psalm 50 or the forth penitential psalm in the Vulgate Bible). 13th century. .

Late Saxon copper alloy stirrup-strap mount. Worn and corroded openwork with single rivet-hole containing a corroded iron rivet at the apex, a central hollow-backed animal head flanked by two vertical lines of three perforations, the lower two of which are filled with iron corrosion. The flange at the base has twin rivet-holes containing the corroded remains of iron rivets, and the remains of an iron plate on the reverse. Traces of iron corrosion overall. 25 x 30mm. See Williams (1997), pp. 91-4.

Incomplete Late Saxon copper-alloy openwork strap-end: attachment-end recessed and pierced by three rivet-holes, two containing corroded iron rivets, the third is broken and the angle is missing. There are traces of a transverse line of stamped annulets above the openwork zoomorphic decoration which comprises the remains of two probable confronted beasts each with a single annular stamp for an eye on both front and back faces.
