Fragment of Roman copper alloy bracelet, a flat-sectioned hoop tapering to a missing terminal, broken immediately beyond a transverse groove where narrowed. Face decorated with an engraved median line between two bands of closely spaced multiple incised oblique grooves, with the other end broken along one of two transverse grooves. Diameter uncertain. Width at both breaks 6.2mm and 5mm. Thickness 1.5mm. Extant (straightened out) length c.41mm. 3rd - 4th century.
