Early Medieval fitting decorated in the 'Quoit Brooch Style'. The fitting consists of a hollow, D sectioned tube, 12.8 x 8.3mm on one side of which is an integrally cast loop. This has a flat, 5.7 x 3.3mm section and one of its faces is edged by incised lines containing rows of angled lines. The loop is asymmetrically set, being level with the tube's undecorated, flat face. Early Medieval Irish harness mount, cast copper alloy with a gilded face bearing panels of reticulate interlace. The mount is cruciform, its four arms set around a central roundel. Each arm narrows before expanding to form a rectangular terminal. The central roundel is marked by a 20mm diameter ring which is raised above the level of the four arms. A similar raised band defines the edges of the arms. These frames are not gilded, but the gilding may have been lost from these areas. Medieval copper alloy strip or mount, 10mm wide and 2mm thick with incised decoration in the form of a band of pseudo (?) lettering. This is stylised but appears to read R - N - P - R - its final part being obscured by corrosion. The letters are separated by rectangular panels filled with incised zig-zag lines. Both ends of the strip appear truncated and it now bent around to form a U shape. The lettering is set between two raised, longitudinal bands formed by the turning out of the edges of the strip. Modern tally, a copper alloy disc, probably originally a halfpenny of Victoria (1837-1901) bronze issue, 1860-1901. Its faces have beeen smoothed and one side stamped with the raised letters 'SP' set within a reserved rectangle. The edge of the disc has been notched. This object may be a farm tally, used to record the number of baskets of produce collected by each worker. Diameter 29.1mm, Mass 7.23g.

Iron Age copper alloy 'core' for a gold-plated stater, probably roughly copying a stater of the Corieltavi / North Eastern region, dating to c. AD1 -50. The obverse shows a horse left with a pellet and ring to left; little else is visible. The reverse is effaced / obscured by corrosion. It is not possible to find a precise parallel, although the style of the horse, with three linked pellets to its left, is similar to ABC (Rudd), p. 101, no. 1971 passim. Diameter 17.9mm, Masss 2.69g.

Medieval gilt copper alloy fitting with an animal head terminal. Head block-like with a rounded nose, large lentoid eyes and a gaping mouth with a protruding tongue. Nostrils marked by two vertical notches. A groove runs down the length of the head, the whole of which is covered by rows of small pellets. Roman copper alloy brooch of 'T' type, bow keeled with a rib, marked by transverse notches, running down its length. There is a triangular opening in the catch plate the edge of which is marked by two transverse notches. The wings, either side of the brooch's head, are cylindrical and marked by circumferencial grooves at each end. The pin is of the self-tensioned hinge type, only part of the pin survives. Lead fitting, originally cylindrical but now distorted, torn and crushed. The object has a diameter (crushed) of 62.5 x 45.7mm and was 105.7mm long. The metal appears to have been around 5mm thick and the fitting may have been made from rolled lead sheet. Its lower third has been perforated with two rows of cut holes, each around 7mm diameter. There are further holes through the end of the cylinder. Its top was open.
