Post Medieval, (c.1600-1700) toy in the form of cast lead alloy bowl, flared sides with a sharply everted rim, marked with a circumferential rib. Inside the bowl its base is marked with a ring of small lis, separated by pellets. On the underside of the bowl is a low foot-ring. The bowl is damaged with about 30% of its diameter missing. This bowl is best paralleled by an example from London which Forsythe and Egan placed in their Design 26 (Forsythe and Egan, 2005, 254, Fig. 8.26). It was dated by them to the seventeenth century.
