Post Medieval (mid 16th to 17th centuries) dress fastener - eye-clasp. A copper alloy dress fastening which is the 'eye' and not the 'hook'. The body of the dress fastening is a sub-oval which is waisted in plan with a truncated terminal. One terminal has a integral circular loop on each corner and the the other terminal a central, incomplete, circular loop. The clasp is undecorated. The fob seal is sub-rectangular with rounded corners in plan and in profile, when looking at the stem is sub conical. The stem and seal matrix is broken into two pieces. Post Medieval coin weight: The weight is circular and a rectangle with rounded corners in section. Both faces are stamped ' S P // 10.6' with a star in the centre. The surface is a matte dark grey colour. The weight measures 15.59mm diameter, 2.9mm thick and weighs 3.51g. This is a complete copper alloy coin weight dating between 1760 and 1773. It was used for weighing the Portuguese moidore and 'joe' gold coins, issued at this time. The 10.6. Indicates a weight equivalent to that of ten (10) shillings and six (6) pence.

Post Medieval (mid 17th to late 17th century) trade token. Trade tokens were issued between 1648 and 1672 at a time when there was little low denomination coinage being issued by the crown. As a result traders and business proprietors began issuing tokens as an alternate coinage with equivalent denominations of a farthing, half penny or penny. A fragment from the butt of a Bronze Age (c. -1500 to c. -950) axehead possibly a palstave of flanged axeead. The copper alloy fragment is a sub rectangle with one terminal being broken, but not recently. The opposite edge tapers slightly in width and also tapers to a blunt point in thickness. The long edges on both faces have a slight lip on both faces representing the beginings of flanges. The upper and lower surface of the fragment has an incomplete matte mid green patina. The surface of the frame has a dark grey patina. It measures 16.79mm long, 17.37mm wide and weighs 1.65g. Whitehead dates similar buckles, Nos 732-734, to AD 1720-1790.
