patchy bronze disease on both faces, very tip extinct and red-brown corrosion product covering break. Basal area cracked from base up towards rivet apertures, refer to scanned image. One face has been cleaned/abraded roughly, recent scoring, light brassy coloured metal with re oxidisation over this. Edges denuded on both sides. Welll cast, flaws smoothed , near flat surface below rivet holes.
