An incomplete copper alloy hook piece from a hooked clasp and eye fastener. The end of the tapered hook is missing. The object comprises a circular plate, hollowed at the rear, with a trapezoidal loop for attachment at one and the remnant of a tapering hook opposite. The front of the circular plate is decorated with a circular framing ridge at the edge surrounding a motif of a human head in relief. A fragment of copper-alloy strip bow brooch.The wings and partial bow only remain.  At the head of the brooch is a central notch between the remnants of the rolled wings where the missing pin would have been attached to the missing axis bar. The bow has a flat rectangular cross section and tapers slightly to the break. The front of the bow is decorated with two parallel longitudinal moulded ridges flanking a wavy line ridge. An incomplete copper alloy button. A composite, discoidal,two-piece button with a solid convex front and a missing separate shank. There is a slight knop at the centre of the convex front. The rear is flat with a central depression for the attachment of the missing shank. Date: Post medieval- 17th century Dimensions: 14.60 mm x 4.91 mm Weight: 3.12 g Similar examples are recorded in Read, B, 2005, Metal Buttons c. 900 BC - c. AD 1700, p. 76, nos. 304 & 305,  both have copper alloy wire shanks.

Incomplete whetstone of probable Early Medieval or Medieval date (c.800 – 1400). The whetstone is formed from a very fine sedimentary mica rich sandstone or siltstone and bedding planes are clearly visible in the profile.
