An incomplete copper alloy hook piece from a hooked clasp and eye fastener. The end of the tapered hook is missing. The object comprises a circular plate, hollowed at the rear, with a trapezoidal loop for attachment at one and the remnant of a tapering hook opposite. A ground and polished axehead, Mik Markham has identified the material as granite. It is crystalline and medium grained.
