An incomplete copper alloy buckle plate. One half of a folded sheet metal buckle plate. The fromt plate only. A sub-rectangular piece of sheet metal, toern along two edges. It has the remnant of the fold where it was attached to a buckle. At the opposite end is one complete and one partial circular attachment hole. The front is decorated with a a central cross inside a circle framed by inward pointing triangles The surface retains traces of gilding, blue enamel in some of the triangles and red enamel in the cross and circle. The suspension loop is set at a right-angle to the plate and has a low, circular hole through it. An complete copper alloy finger ring.  The ring is keeled and has a blind bezel. The sloping shoulders are triangular and undecorated. The downward points of the triangles are flanked by angled projections. The band is narrow and D-sectioned.
