An incomplete copper alloy strap mount shaped in the form of a stylised acorn in its cup. The sub oval mount is divided by two transverse incised lines to delineate the "cip" from the "nut" of the acorn. The top of the "nut" terminates in a small rounded knop. A Post Medieval copper-alloy strap fitting for a sword belt, dating to c. AD 1600 - 1650. A cast copper alloy strap slide with integral outer rivet. The frame is trapezoidal, wider at the top than at the base. The sides of the frame are rectangular in cross section. There is an integral rectangular sectioned rivet projecting outwards 2.6mm from the centre of the base, the end of which broken.
