A fragment of tertiary flint waste flake. Grey-brown flint with a small area of older, white patination on the dorsal surface. The proximal end has been broken off and at the distal end is a hinge fracture. There are numerous, closely spaced waves of percussion faintly visible on the ventral surface. There are a few, small, elongate flake removal scars on the dorsal face. Dimensions: 28.8 mm x 20.6 mm x 6.3 mm Weight: 4.26g Date: Neolithic to Early Bronze Age - c.4000 - 1600 BC

28 sherds of probable Black Burnished ware (South Western variant fabric). The fabric is reduced and black to grey with occasional pinkish margins. It has poorly sorted mixed rounded quartz sand, iron ore and other stone temper. The exterior of some of the sherds is burnished. 28 body sherds from a hand made jar. Three rim sherds from upright rim jars. The rims have slight external beads. The largest of the rim sherds has a the remnant of a circular hole at the break, probably from a mend.
