Cast copper-alloy eagle figurine; portrayed with outstretched wings with its head turned to left; the head and body, including its underside, carry engraved details representing facial features and feathers; at the base of the figurine just above the legs of the eagle is an irregular breakage, the face of which is impregnated with iron corrosion; this may represent the remains of an attachment feature. Cast copper alloy terminal or finial in the form of a beast's (dragon or serpent) head' ; behind the head the neck extends as a curving bar of metal of sub-circular section which tapers regularly towards the breakage point which indicates an oval cross section; the profiled head is finely executed with a pair of swept-back triangular ears, large bulging lentoid eyes and a large gaping mouth; between the jaws is a sub-triangular piercing, the corners of the mouth carry engraved scrolls which are also used to represent nostrils at the snout; a flat transverse section of metal which joins…

Copper alloy shield-shaped horse-harness pendant; pierced suspension lug at top edge, front face decorated with a heraldic device consisting of a stag defined by engraved outer borders inlaid with niello? Apart from the prominent antlers which are themselves engraved and inlaid with red enamel, a possible reading is: Or, a stag trippant (or?) attired gules; these particular Arms are not listed though it could be that this device was used as a badge.

Copper alloy heraldic stud; shield-shaped plate, slightly curving in profile; reverse has an integral attachment rivet of sub-circular section, the end of which has been hammered flat to hold the stud in place; front decorated with a heraldic design consisting of a chequered pattern inlaid with red enamel; all surface finish has been lost though it is most likely that this stud originally bore the arms of the Warrene family (Chequey, Or and Gules) who held extensive lands in Norfolk and Suffolk.
