Small earthenware pot. It is c. 75 mm high and has a base diameter of 38 mm, flaring to a cordon two-thirds of the way up (diameter here 64 mm) and then curving inwards again to the rim (diameter 29 mm). The fabric is brown-black and sandy with occasional granitic inclusions (gold mica and felspar) and small black pieces. Possibly an inkwell or paint pot; possibly 'art pottery' of the early 20th century, or a Spanish or Portuguese import of uncertain (but probably post-medieval) date.

Cast copper-alloy leg from a vessel. A five-toed foot survives, 39 mm wide and 25 mm thick, with a groove separating this from the upper part which is D-shaped in cross-section. Only a tiny part of this exists, with an irregular U-shaped top covered in grey solder. It seems likely either that this foot broke off its vessel, and had to be replaced, or was cast as a replacement to a broken-off foot. The latter seems more likely as the edges of the top are not clearly broken. Vessels with these feet date from the mid thirteenth to the end of the sixteenth century.

Cast copper-alloy leg from a cooking vessel, now incomplete. The top survives, with a smooth curved surface which could be soldered to the body of the vessel. The reverse is flat, but the front is lumpy and it is hard to see any deliberate design features. There is some sooting on all surfaces including the top. The break is old and worn.

Large cast copper-alloy leg from a vessel. In cross-section it is triangular with rounded sides and corners, and it tapers slightly from one end to the other. The wider end has a deep U cut out of the end, and the narrower end has a swollen and crudely rounded end. Both ends are rough and full of casting flaws and holes.

Very worn and corroded lid from a jug. The underside is flat, the upper face slightly convex, with a sloping and tapering projection in the centre, probably to help in lifting the lid. All edges are broken, but an echo of the original trefoil shape (covering both mouth and spout) can be seen. There is a broken stub projecting from the centre of a long edge; this was originally a hinge loop to attach the lid to the jug. There is a good parallel from Colchester (Crummy 1983, no. 2049).
