Cast copper-alloy leg from a medieval cooking vessel. It is roughly rectangular in cross-section, 32 x 14mm at the break, with a very slight midrib down the centre. It flares smoothly to the out-turned foot, and there is no break between the two. The foot is triangular in side view, with a trapezoidal base 39mm wide at most and 22mm deep. It is 47mm long and weighs 109.5g. There is no particularly close parallel in Butler and Green 2003; it is fairly similar to one from a 14th-century context in Winchester (Biddle 1990, no. 3386).

Openwork hook-escutcheon from an early-medieval hanging bowl. Made from cast copper alloy, it consists of the hook and a fragment of plate. The plate was originally oval in shape with a central bar. The central bar is trapezoidal in cross-section, 3.8mm wide and 3.0mm thick at the break, with median groove. Fragment of rim from a cast copper alloy cooking vessel. Using a rim diameter chart the overall diameter of the rim appears to be c. 25cm. In cross-section the rim is thickened to 5.6mm, and out-turned with a slightly concave exterior; it then tapers to a sharp edge. A short length of the body or side wall of the vessel survives, 4.0mm thick at the break. The interior is concave in cross-section below the thickened rim. Large cast copper-alloy leg from a post-medieval cooking vessel, rounded on the front and hollowed on the reverse. The front is decorated below the break with three ribs (little of this area survives) then it has a transverse ridge with oblique grooves on it giving the impression of a twisted cable. Below this the leg flares and is decorated with five longitudinal ribs. All surfaces except for the break are sooted. It measures 49mm long, 36mm wide and 18mm thick at the base, 25mm wide and 11mm thick at the break, and weighs 116.47g.

Solid cast copper-alloy leg from a vessel. It is D-shaped in cross-section with a flat reverse, and has a ridge across it a little over halfway down. Complete vessel leg from a cast copper-alloy ewer or possibly a cooking vessel, either made separately from the rest of the vessel and soldered on, or a repair. Copper-alloy 'paperclip' rivet, now incomplete. It consists of a piece of sheet metal with tapering ends, most edges now broken. The ends are very neatly folded back to the centre and then again back on themselves like a paper-fastener, but are broken just after this second fold.
