The tokens for both Suffolk and Essex have been searched in an attempt to identify this token. There is no candidate for Suffolk, and two for Essex. It is either Williamson Essex no. 321 or no. 324. 321 is the farthing token of George Nicholson, whose name is written on the obverse around the Grocers' Arms. On the reverse are the crowned initials GN, with OF. THORPE. IN. ESSEX (presumably Thorpe-le-Soken) written around. 324 is the farthing token of another George Nicholson, this time of Tolleshunt Darcy, whose name is written on the obverse around the Grocers' Arms.
