Copper-alloy suspension device, probably for a hanging lamp. There is a tall central stem which ends in a large circular loop (11 mm across externally, 6 mm diameter internally). The stem is roughly circular in section, and at its base is a triangle whose corners are all extended into arms. One is broken, but the other two end in expanded pierced lugs. Copper-alloy suspension device, probably for a hanging lamp. There is a tall central stem which ends in a circular loop, now blocked with iron corrosion. This is roughly circular in section, and at its base is a triangle whose corners are all extended into arms. These originally ended in smaller loops but are all now broken. On the underside of the triangle, continuing the line of the stem, is a pierced D-shaped lug; this is complete and unblocked. Similar objects are known from Norfolk and from London (see Egan 1998, 130-133). Height 29 mm.

Lamp hanger of unusual form. Largely flat and made of copper alloy, it has a central triangular plate with rounded corners, which has a central circular hole and a similar hole in each corner. The central hole probably, by analogy with other lamp hangers, held a separate stem with a loop at either end. Projecting from the centre of each side of the central triangle is a long flat arm, with each side curving to a point and decorated with short transverse grooves. Cast copper-alloy lamp hanger which has lost all three of its lower arms; the breaks vary from very old to very fresh. The upper arm is complete and rises to a large circular suspension loop (internal diameter 6 mm). Under the centre of the base is a D-shaped lug with a tiny perforation (1 mm internal diameter). The length from the top of the complete suspension loop to the bottom of the D-shaped lug is 31 mm. Parallels can be found in London (Egan 1998, nos. 356-7) and Guestwick, Norfolk (East Anglian Archaeology 32, fig. 50.2).
