Pedestal base of a small beaker made from colour-coated ware, possibly Nene Valley. The fabric is orange/buff; nearly all the colour coat has come off, but a little red colour can be seen in a groove on the underside. The diameter at the very bottom is 32 mm; at the broken top it is 25 mm. Late 2nd or 3rd century.
