Unusual form of hooked tag. The plate is made from lead alloy, with a tall flat-topped cylindrical central boss around which is a raised circle. Outside the circle the edge is fragmentary, but looks lumpy and may originally have been a ring of pellets. On the reverse is the scar from a missing loop, which ran straight across the upper part of the plate. At the base of the plate is a separate copper-alloy hook, made from circular-section wire and set into a blob of lead alloy.
