Large 'spangle', made of lead-tin alloy and in excellent condition. It thin and flat, and basically circular with a trapezoidal projection at one edge with two irregular perforations for sewing on to the garment. The circular area is decorated with a tiny central boss that, oddly, projects on the reverse as well. From this radiate sixteen fine relief lines, alternately long and short. The short lines end in pellets, and the long lines split into two out-curling strands which each end in pellets.
